Job summary

Brushfire is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to own two mobile applications (organizer-facing and white-label attendee-facing). You will manage development, testing, pipelines, and store releases for both iOS and Android, ensuring robust, scalable mobile experiences.

The ideal candidate is a senior mobile engineer who can work independently, contribute to platform consolidation, and embrace practical, results-driven execution with modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience working with React Native.
• 2+ years of submitting and maintaining cross‑platform mobile apps in iOS App Store and Google Play.
• 2+ years of experience working with TypeScript.
• 1+ years of agile/scrum workflow including JIRA and Shortcut.
• Demonstrable use of AI development tooling in real workflows.
• Experience with PubSub databases: Firestore and Firebase Realtime Database.
• Experience with GitHub and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Fluent written and spoken English for communication with customers and teammates.
• Concrete examples and evidence of work product and role.

Responsibilities

• Own Brushfire's mobile platform lifecycle from development to store releases.
• Maintain and update two React Native apps for iOS and Android.
• Collaborate on API integrations and platform consolidation efforts.
• Contribute to a culture of experimentation with new tech and approaches.
