Job summary

DaySmart Software is seeking a Senior React Native Engineer to lead the development of new features and maintain our mobile app stack. You will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain our React Native application across platforms.

The role is based in Austin, Texas, with a mix of in-office and remote work to foster collaboration. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mobile development with React Native, experience with Expo, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years developing mobile applications with React Native.
• Experience with Expo.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to navigate large codebases and own projects end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality new features with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Maintain the existing codebase by fixing bugs and making improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of features and updates.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
• Map real-world customer issues to product solutions.
