Jobgether SRL seeks an experienced mobile engineer to lead end‑to‑end React Native development for iOS and Android, shaping architecture, performance, and delivery. You will implement high‑fidelity UI, integrate REST APIs, and drive quality with automated tests.

The role requires 4+ years with React/React Native, TS, and modern state management. Remote‑first setup, strong collaboration, and ownership of technical decisions are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of solid professional experience with React and React Native development.
• Strong production experience with TypeScript, including advanced use of React Hooks and functional programming principles.
• Practical experience with React Navigation and state management solutions such as Context API, React Query/TanStack Query, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience developing automated tests for JavaScript and TypeScript applications using tools such as Jest and React Testing Library.
• Hands‑on experience with iOS and Android release processes, including builds, certificates, and publishing applications to app stores.
• Experience with Styled Components and a strong understanding of responsive styling, UI implementation, and user experience principles.
• Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated build and delivery workflows.
• Professional experience developing web applications with React, including single‑page applications (SPAs), routing, and build tooling.
• Experience with Node.js backend development, including REST API implementation, database integration, and authentication.
• Ability to make and justify technical architecture decisions independently, considering maintainability, performance, scalability, and testing.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, particularly when investigating complex platform‑specific issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide and receive technical feedback constructively.
• Demonstrated autonomy, technical leadership, and willingness to mentor developers and improve team‑wide engineering practices.
• Adaptability and effective prioritization when working in a dynamic environment with multiple demands.
• Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Mobile Development: Lead the design, development, testing, and delivery of mobile features using React Native and TypeScript across iOS and Android platforms.
• Technical Architecture: Make and maintain architectural decisions related to project structure, state management, data layers, navigation, and testing strategies, ensuring solutions remain scalable and maintainable.
• Application Performance and Reliability: Investigate and resolve platform-specific challenges involving performance, battery consumption, background execution, offline synchronization, and application stability.
• Code Quality and Engineering Standards: Write clean, efficient, testable code and promote best practices through thoughtful code reviews, reusable patterns, and maintainable implementation standards.
• API and Backend Integration: Integrate mobile applications with existing APIs and ecosystem services, collaborating with backend teams to refine API contracts when they do not adequately meet mobile requirements.
• UI Implementation: Build prototypes and implement interfaces with high fidelity to approved designs, ensuring accurate layouts, consistent behavior, and a polished user experience.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and maintain automated tests using appropriate JavaScript and TypeScript testing frameworks, contributing to reliable releases and reduced regression risks.
• Release Management: Support mobile build processes, certificates, application deployment, app store publication, and mobile CI/CD pipelines.
• Production Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor applications in production, investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement durable fixes rather than temporary workarounds.
• Technical Leadership and Mentoring: Guide less experienced developers, facilitate technical discussions, provide constructive feedback, and establish engineering practices that enable the team to work effectively.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with product stakeholders and technical leaders to define requirements, align architectural decisions, and ensure projects meet functional and technical specifications.
• Continuous Improvement: Research emerging technologies, evaluate alternative approaches, and present recommendations for architectural review and ongoing product improvement.
• Full-Stack Contribution: Contribute to React web applications and Node.js backend services when required, supporting REST APIs, database integrations, and authentication workflows.
