Job summary

Wagepoint is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer - Mobile (React) to own the end-to-end mobile feature lifecycle across iOS and Android. You will design, develop, and optimize mobile apps, mentoring teammates and shaping mobile architecture with a focus on performance and reliability.

You will lead CI/CD pipelines, ensure smooth deployments to App Stores, and collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to align mobile work with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in mobile development.
• Strong React Native skills with JavaScript/TypeScript for cross‑platform iOS and Android apps.
• Experience integrating mobile apps with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Strong understanding of app store deployment processes for iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete mobile development lifecycle for new features from design to deployment across iOS and Android.
• Set up, manage, and optimize mobile CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth app submissions to iOS App Store and Google Play.
• Implement proactive monitoring, crash analytics, and performance tuning; respond to incidents to maintain app reliability.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to align mobile development with business goals and technical feasibility.
• Mentor mid-level and junior developers in React Native best practices, performance optimization, and deployment workflows.
• Provide input on mobile architecture decisions, including state management and navigation strategy.
