Job summary

MAP SSG is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer (React Native) to own architecture and deliver a production-ready mobile trading application for iOS and Android, with remote work from the United States.

You will shape technical direction, collaborate with Product and Design, and lead real-time market data features while remaining hands-on and ready to grow into a Tech Lead role within a lean, distributed engineering team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including mobile development.
• Experience shipping production mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Experience owning mobile architecture and making technical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, performance, scalability, reliability, and long-term maintainability of a production React Native application across iOS and Android.
• Take technical ownership of the mobile product, making critical architectural decisions and establishing engineering standards.
• Build functionality involving real‑time market data, trading interfaces, order execution, and decentralized financial applications.
• Lead mobile features throughout the development lifecycle, from technical design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, Backend Engineering, and other developers on API integrations and real‑time data flows.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues, optimize application performance, and improve overall mobile reliability.
• Own mobile testing, CI/CD processes, monitoring, and releases to the Apple App Store and Google Play.
• Provide technical guidance through code reviews, architectural discussions, and engineering best practices.
• Help shape the long‑term technical direction of the mobile platform while remaining deeply involved in hands‑on development.
