Job summary

PerfectServe is hiring a Mobile Developer to build cross‑platform mobile apps using React Native for iOS and Android. You will translate UI/UX designs into high‑quality code, integrate with RESTful APIs and third‑party SDKs, and address bugs and performance issues across platforms.

The role requires knowledge of React Native, JavaScript/TypeScript, and understanding SDLC/Agile practices. Strong communication for a remote team is essential, with health‑IT experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Some prior technical experience in mobile development, software development, or a related technical area or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Working knowledge of React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript, including React fundamentals such as components, state, props, and hooks.
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and/or Agile delivery practices.
• Familiarity with mobile UI/UX principles and an interest in building skills across both iOS and Android.
• Experience using Git for version control and consuming REST APIs.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
• Health IT experience (a plus)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android under the guidance of more senior mobile engineers.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high‑quality, responsive code.
• Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and third‑party SDKs.
• Debug and resolve bugs, performance issues, and platform‑specific quirks between iOS and Android.
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.
• Write and maintain basic unit and integration tests to help ensure application stability.
• Communicate effectively in a remote environment, including maintaining an active on‑camera presence during meetings when expected.
