The React Native Lead will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.

The ideal candidate will build reusable components, deliver pixel-perfect user interfaces, ensure application performance, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.

The role also requires leadership capabilities as an individual contributor and a strong commitment to delivering robust, maintainable, and high-performance mobile apps.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features using React Native for iOS and Android applications.
• Build reusable UI components and front-end libraries for long-term scalability.
• Translate UI/UX designs and wireframes into high-quality, pixel-perfect mobile interfaces.
• Optimize components for maximum performance across a variety of mobile devices and OS versions.
• Architect, build, and maintain clean, scalable, and efficient React Native applications.
• Implement smooth animations, transitions, and interactions to provide a seamless user experience.
• Integrate third-party APIs and backend services as required.
• Collaborate with team members working on various infrastructure layers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Participate in problem-solving discussions, code reviews, and technical planning.
• Work independently as an individual contributor while also supporting team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in front-end/mobile development.
• Hands-on experience with React Native, React.js, and core React principles.
• Experience with popular React workflows such as Flux or Redux.
• Experience with data structure libraries such as Immutable.js.
• Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile API integrations.
• Knowledge of modern authentication methods such as JWT.
• Experience with front-end build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.).
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving, optimization, and debugging skills.
• Excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
• Ability to function as a self-driven individual contributor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the healthcare domain.
• Knowledge of isomorphic React.
• Familiarity with performance testing and benchmarking for mobile applications.
