Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, React to build a new Endpoint State and Control team from the ground up. You will shape architecture, conventions, and patterns from day one, with real input into frontend design and API contracts.

You will translate Figma designs, lead end‑to‑end UI design, and write robust tests as a core expectation. The role rewards proactive problem solving, collaboration, and a willingness to experiment with AI tools in a hybrid remote

Qualifications

• 7+ years of frontend engineering experience with expert‑level React (18+) and TypeScript.
• Track record building complex, data‑driven UI from the ground up (tables, modals, multi‑step forms).
• Experience with React Query (TanStack Query) or equivalent server‑state management.
• Strong testing habits: unit and integration tests (Jest, React Testing Library).
• Comfortable translating Figma designs into production UI and pushing back when needed.
• Experience leading technical design end‑to‑end from API contracts to components and tests.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and establishing new patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and build frontend surfaces for the Endpoint State and Control team from scratch.
• Lead end‑to‑end UI technical design, API contracts, component architecture, and test strategy.
• Translate Figma designs into production‑ready UI and advocate for feasible approaches.
• Write and maintain thorough unit and integration tests (Jest, RTL).
• Establish shared components, patterns, and standards for the team.
