Job Description

React Developer

• Weare seeking a highly skilled and motivated React Developer to join ourteam to help build a cutting-edge project from scratch using Sitecore JSS,Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Theideal candidate will have experience in setting up and configuring complexprojects, developing highly responsive user interfaces, and ensuringhigh-quality code through testing and performance optimization.

Responsibilities:

Project Setup & Configuration:

• Leadthe initial setup and configuration of a Sitecore JSS and Next.jsTypeScript project.
• IntegrateNext.js frameworks like SSR (Server-Side Rendering), SSG (Static SiteGeneration), and ISG (Incremental Static Regeneration) for optimalperformance and scalability.
• Setup and configure build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and developmentenvironments.

Frontend Development:

• Developdynamic and responsive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, SCSS, andSitecore JSS.
• Ensureseamless integration with the Sitecore Experience Editor for editingcontent in real-time.
• Implementreusable components, hooks, and React state management libraries.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Writeand maintain unit tests using the Jest framework to ensure code quality.
• Implementend-to-end testing to cover UI and API integration.
• Collaboratewith QA to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Performance Optimization & Security:

• Optimizefrontend performance by leveraging Next.js best practices, includingcode-splitting and lazy-loading.
• Implementa robust Content Security Policy (CSP) and maintain high securitystandards for client-side rendering.
• Optimizethe project for SEO using best practices in SSR and SSG.

Collaboration & Communication:

• Workclosely with backend developers to ensure seamless API integration anddata flow.
• Collaboratewith UI/UX designers to translate design mockups into high-quality code.
• Participatein code reviews and collaborate in an Agile development environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

Core Technologies:

• Proficientin React, Next.js, TypeScript, SCSS and HTML5.
• Strongunderstanding of Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Static Site Generation(SSG), and Incremental Static Regeneration (ISG).
• 4-8years of practical experience using above technologies

Sitecore JSS:

• Experiencewith Sitecore JSS for creating seamless, editable components.
• Understandingof integrating Sitecore Experience Editor.

Testing:

• Proficientwith Jest for unit testing and ensuring code quality.
• Familiaritywith test-driven development (TDD) practices.

Performance Optimization:

• Experienceoptimizing web performance, particularly in SSR/SSG environments.

Other:

• Experienceworking with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Familiaritywith setting up projects from scratch, including project structure, buildconfigurations, and deployment pipelines.

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum andmaximum hourly wage for this position is $60 to $70/hr.
