Job summary

Harvey Nash is seeking a Sitecore Developer in Jersey City to lead and implement complex Sitecore solutions. You will focus on Sitecore architecture, headless development, and integrations with SQL Server and Solr while mentoring teams and collaborating with stakeholders.

The role demands strong C#, Next.js, GraphQL, and PowerShell skills, plus experience with CI/CD and modern JavaScript frameworks. On-site work in Jersey City and a 12+ month duration are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sitecore platform architecture, including data models, templates, components (SXA, JSS, Content Serialization)
• Proficiency in Sitecore development using C#, Next.js, GraphQL, PowerShell, .NET Framework
• Expertise in developing custom Sitecore modules and integrations with external APIs
• Solid understanding of JavaScript frameworks (React) and HTML/CSS
• Hands-on experience with Git/Bitbucket, deployment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong leadership, stakeholder interaction, and project-direction guidance
• Full SDLC experience in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong troubleshooting, code optimization, and refactoring skills

Sitecore developer with strong emphasis on PowerShell scripting, the highlighted skill is not a must but nice to have

• Experience in Sitecore platform architecture, including knowledge of Sitecore’s data models, templates, components (Sitecore Experience Accelerator/SXA, JSS, Sitecore Content Serialization), Sitecore configuration, content management, personalization features, internals of integration with SQL Server and Solr, Sitecore headless development and Sitecore Cloud platforms
• Proficiency in Sitecore development using C#, NextJS, GraphQL, Powershell, .NET Framework
• Expertise in developing custom Sitecore modules and components, including integrations with external APIs and other systems like Analytics and marketing automation
• Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), frameworks like React and NextJS, CSS syntax, HTML5 specs, browser shortcomings/differences and polyfills
• Hands-on experience in inversion control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket), deployment strategies, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Highly experienced at leading teams, interacting with business partners or customers, and guiding project direction
• Strong hands-on experience in the entire development life cycle of software products - coordination of project meetings, project scheduling from the design stage to the deployment stage, and final Ready-to-Ship product.
• Excellent understanding of object-oriented design concepts and software development processes and methods
• Developed software in the SCRUM environment using Agile methodologies
• Must have strong troubleshooting, code optimization, and refactoring skills

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $60to $70/hr.
