Job Title: Front-End Developer

Job Type: Contract

Location: Jersey City, NJ

Hybrid: This is a hybrid position requiring 1–2 days onsite (Wednesdays + one additional day).

Base pay range: $70.00/yr - $85.00/yr

About the Role

This is a hybrid position requiring 1–2 days onsite (Wednesdays + one additional day).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web-based UI components for the customer-facing platform.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to translate design concepts into dynamic, responsive front-end applications.
• Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and enhance existing features.
• Partner with QA and development teams to ensure high-quality, compatible, and scalable applications.
• Participate in a fast-paced Agile development environment with continuous integration and deployment practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/PostCSS), AJAX, and responsive design patterns.
• Experience in UI design, usability analysis, and accessibility standards.
• Understanding of RESTful web services and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).

Nice to Have

• Exposure to other modern front-end frameworks (React, Aurelia.js, Ember, Backbone).
• Knowledge of Node.js or Rails in a front-end context.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with hybrid mobile app frameworks (Cordova, React Native, etc.) – not required.
• Experience in high-volume, customer-centric web platforms, commerce sites, or A/B testing environments.

Benefits and Additional Information

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum hourly wage for this position is $70- $85/hr. on W2 (Depending on Experience). Benefits will be available, and details are available at the following links:
