Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico is seeking a Cleared Senior/Principal RD Systems Engineer to join the Surety Engineering Groups (2910 & 2920). You will lead multidisciplinary teams through requirements engineering, verification & validation, risk analysis, and defect prevention to deliver robust, qualified products.

The role requires an active DOE Q-level clearance, a bachelor's degree, and 5+ years of relevant experience, with onsite work and potential for flexible arrangements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; 5+ years of directly relevant experience or equivalent.
• Active DOE Q-level security clearance to start, or equivalent.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in R&D product qualification.

Responsabilités

• Lead product qualification and delivery across the full lifecycle.
• Develop verification/validation plans and essential engineering authorizations.
• Collaborate across teams to mitigate risks and ensure design intent.
