Job summary

Resource Innovations seeks a Senior Energy Engineer to lead RCx and optimization projects for commercial and industrial clients, preferably based in Indiana; Kentucky or Tennessee are also considered. The role emphasizes independent project leadership, energy audits, and verification of savings.

You will work with facility staff, utility program teams, and contractors to analyze BAS, control sequences, and operating data, develop energy conservation measures, calculate savings, and prepare

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in energy efficiency, RCx, or building optimization.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and BAS.
• Experience leading RCx projects from assessment to reporting.

Responsibilities

• Independently lead RCx and optimization projects for commercial and industrial clients.
• Analyze building systems and data to identify energy-saving opportunities.
• Develop RCx measures, savings calculations, and implementation support.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to customers and stakeholders.
• Travel 25–50% to project sites in Indiana area.
