Job summary

Resource Innovations is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to lead retro-commissioning and optimization projects for commercial and industrial clients in Indiana with flexible consideration for nearby states. The role emphasizes energy efficiency, system optimization, and strong client collaboration.

Expect field work, data-driven analysis, and measurement & verification activities to demonstrate realized savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Energy, Architectural Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant energy efficiency/RCx experience.
• Strong knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC systems and building controls.
• Experience leading RCx projects from assessment to final reporting.
• Proficient with BAS data analysis and trend review.
• Ability to communicate findings to customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead RCx and building optimization projects for commercial/industrial clients.
• Perform site investigations, data collection, and development of ECMs.
• Calculate energy and demand savings, prepare cost estimates and payback.
• Prepare RCx studies, reports, and implementation plans.
• Coordinate with facility staff, contractors, and customers throughout projects.
• Support M&V activities and verify realized savings.
• Travel to Evansville, IN area 25–50% as needed.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
