Job summary

InStride Health is seeking a Senior Manager, RCM Optimization & Strategy to fix denials, reduce leakage, and optimize revenue cycle flows. You’ll own billing setup, analyze root causes, and build KPI dashboards to drive performance across billing, AR, and payer operations.

You will collaborate with IT, licensing, authorization, and clinical operations to streamline workflows and scale the RCM function, with a fully remote work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Business Analytics, or 10+ years in healthcare RCM.
• Proven track record using complex data to streamline RCM operations and recover revenue.
• Strong project management background with cross-functional project leadership.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate data into actionable insights.
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 codes and payor contract analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze end-to-end RCM workflows from pre-billing to patient collections to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Own billing system setup and payor logic to minimize revenue leakage.
• Build KPI dashboards (clean claim rate, denial rate, AR days) and share insights with leadership.
• Audit billing engine rules and fee schedules for compliance.
• Lead root-cause analyses on denials and underpayments and implement fixes.
• Coordinate with licensing, credentialing, and eligibility to reduce denials.
• Collaborate with technology to automate claim submission and denial management.
• Manage internal and clearinghouse configuration to resolve pre-claim edits.
• Lead change management for new billing tools and integrations.
• Deliver executive-level RCM insights and financial performance reporting.
