Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire seeks a Lead Rangemaster to oversee range operations, safety protocols for testing, and management of range facilities and equipment in line with policy and best practices.

You will support test processes in R&D, collaborate with Test Technicians and Engineers, and mentor staff while ensuring a welcoming, safe range experience and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years Rangemaster experience and 5+ years training others on firearms.
• Maintain Range Safety Officer qualifications and relevant certifications.
• DoD firearms qualification certifications in M17, M4, M249, and M240; pistol/rifle/shotgun training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel/Word).

Responsibilities

• Oversee validation of safety procedures for testing events with EHS and stakeholders.
• Plan, resource, and execute range updates to improve testing capabilities.
• Write and maintain Rangemaster requirements and training classes.
• Operate hand and power tools to construct targets/fixtures.
• Ensure welcoming range experience and deescalate conflicts.
• Conduct range safety qualification testing for SIG SAUER employees.
• Mentor range certified employees and participate in continuous improvement.
• Follow Safety and ISO procedures.
