Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire seeks an Instructor I for the SIG SAUER Academy to proficiently instruct courses using approved lesson plans, conduct classroom and range exercises, and work with students and internal staff.

The role requires travel up to two weeks per month, strong firearms safety knowledge, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; on-site work is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of training experience with safe handling of firearms preferred.
• Law enforcement or military instructor level experience preferred.
• Expert knowledge of weapons and proper handling of firearms.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to two weeks per month.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide optimal training environment in the classroom and on the range using approved SIG SAUER Academy methods.
• Instruct designated basic level courses per approved lesson plans.
• Assist and lead core classes as capable.
• Represent the Academy at events and conferences with a professional image.
