Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking an entry-level Range Safety Officer I to join the team at the range. You will handle day-to-day safety, rentals, reservations, and range cleanliness while enforcing SOPs for customers and staff.

The role requires some firearm safety knowledge from training and retail experience. RSO 1 certification is required, with potential collaboration with Sales and Events teams under the Range Master.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; or related experience and/or training.
• RSO 1 course required and other safety certifications.
• Basic firearm safety understanding required for public range activity.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and POS system for transactions.
• Clear verbal and written communication, ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Enforce SOPs to prevent injury and range damage.
• Day-to-day range check-in, firearm rental, reservations, waitlist management, and product knowledge.
• Assist with setup/teardown of indoor matches and leagues.
• Support small events and customer activities.
• Suggest SOP improvements to Range Master.
