Job summary

Urban Engineers, Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Project Manager to oversee transit and rail design/construction programs for public agencies and railroad clients in Philadelphia.

The role covers full life cycle from initiation to closeout, with a focus on signal systems and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have 12+ years in rail systems, an ABET/NAAB accredited engineering or architecture degree, and PE/Architect license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET- accredited program or Bachelor of Architecture from a NAAB- accredited program.
• Professional Engineer registration or Architect license preferred.
• 12+ years of rail systems project management experience including planning, permitting, design and construction management up to $50M.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scope, schedule, cost, quality, communications, resources, procurement and risk for multi-discipline transit projects.
• Lead technical and administrative staff to ensure contractual obligations are met.
• Maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships and drive positive financial outcomes.
• Interface with public agencies, governmental officials, and consultants to deliver design and construction services.
