Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Project Controls Manager for our Rail and Transit Sector in the United States. The role interfaces with Sector Manager, Project Managers, and Accountants to manage project accounting, financial reporting, and KPI tracking.

You will coordinate with clients and subconsultants to support billing, forecasts, and profit optimization. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in finance/project accounting, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office; knowledge of EVM and A/E/C

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance or engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of similar or related work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance and/or project accounting.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of A/E/C financial systems and business dashboards preferred.
• Strong communication skills including verbal, written, and listening.

Responsibilities

• Manage project accounting and financial operations reporting.
• Coordinate with sector manager, project managers, and project accountants.
• Track A/R and WIP for NY/NE area; support month-end close and forecasting.
• Review KPIs and assist in contract administration and invoicing processes.
• Develop project dashboards and cost-to-complete estimates; support finance and BD teams.
