Job summary

TYLin is seeking a Project Controls Manager for the Rail and Transit Sector. The role interfaces with Sector Manager, Project Managers and Project Accountants to manage project accounting and financial operations reporting.

You will coordinate with client stakeholders and subconsultants on administrative tasks. Responsibilities include tracking A/R and WIP for NY/NE, supporting forecasting and planning, KPI reviews, pricing support, and developing project financial tracking using Earned Value

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business/finance or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of similar or related work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance and/or project accounting.
• Proficient using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of A/E/C financial systems and business dashboards preferred.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and listening.
• Able to interface with corporate colleagues, peers and clients’ staff and manage stakeholders.
• Client focused, always aiming to provide the best solutions.

Responsibilities

• Interface with Sector Manager, Project Managers and Accountants to manage project accounting and reporting.
• Coordinate administrative tasks with client stakeholders and subconsultants.
• Track A/R and WIP for the NY/NE area and support forecasting and planning.
• Review KPIs, support pricing and capture processes, and improve dashboards for visibility.
• Develop project setup and manage financial tracking using Earned Value Management (EVM).
• Support project managers with project financial tracking and cost-to-complete estimates.
• Assist in contract administration, changes, subcontracts, and invoicing processes.
