Job summary

Urban Engineers seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to join the Construction Services Department in the Baltimore region. You will lead cost estimating, scheduling, and project controls for a major rail infrastructure program, coordinating with a cross-functional team and clients.

On-site work in Baltimore three days per week is required, with opportunities to advance client management responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in project controls, cost estimating, scheduling, or related disciplines for heavy civil/rail projects.
• Minimum 5 years in passenger rail or related transportation modes.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost estimating, scheduling, and project controls for a major rail program.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary project controls team and client communications.
• Review Basis of Estimate, cost/price analyses, and risk registers.
• Support CPM schedule development and reconciliation with cost estimates.
• Provide on-site project leadership and client-facing representation as needed.
