Job summary

Urban Engineers, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Cost Estimator to join the Construction Services Department in the Baltimore region. The role supports a major rail infrastructure program while providing project controls across transportation assets.

You will guide cost estimating, scheduling, and project management tasks with a collaborative team. Responsibilities include leading cost reviews, coordinating a multidisciplinary team, and interfacing with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in project controls, estimating, scheduling, or related disciplines for heavy civil, rail, transit projects.
• Experience with passenger rail or transportation projects is highly preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Certifications in cost estimating, scheduling, or project controls are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in day-to-day project controls delivery for a major rail program.
• Coordinate a multidisciplinary project controls team across cost, schedule, risk, and related functions.
• Interface with client, project team, contractors, and designers on cost, schedule, and controls matters.
