Jobot is seeking an experienced Estimator to manage the estimating process from bid evaluation through project award for commercial and industrial projects in the Baltimore area. This role requires preparing accurate estimates, performing quantity takeoffs, and evaluating subcontractor pricing to position projects for successful execution.

• 5-10 years of construction estimating experience.
• Commercial or industrial construction experience required.
• Electrical estimating experience preferred but not required.
• Experience using estimating software such as Accubid or similar platforms.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete project estimates from conceptual budgeting through final bid submission.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and cost analysis.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing.
• Analyze labor, material, and equipment costs.
• Utilize estimating software and bid platforms.
• Identify project risks and pricing opportunities.
• Facilitate detailed handoffs to project management teams after award.
