Job summary

Arup is seeking a Rail Track Leader to provide senior technical, project delivery, and client-facing leadership for major rail projects in the Americas. You will act as Engineer of Record for track design, directing detailed design from concept to construction, and mentoring staff to build Arup’s capability across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with ability to serve as Engineer of Record in relevant US jurisdictions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior lead and Engineer of Record for rail track design packages.
• Lead detailed track design delivery from concept through final design and construction support.
• Oversee design reviews for alignments, trackwork, drainage, and interfaces across disciplines.
• Provide senior leadership for track scope on design-build projects and coordinate with contractors and subconsultants.
• Mentor junior engineers and develop a sustainable track design team in the Americas.
