Job summary

Arup is seeking a seasoned Rail Track Leader to provide senior technical, delivery, and client-facing leadership for major rail projects in the Americas. This role entails acting as Engineer of Record for track design and guiding detailed design from concept to construction while expanding Arup's track design capability in the region.

The candidate will oversee horizontal/vertical alignment, trackwork, yard tracks, and interface areas, ensuring constructibility, quality, and compliance across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering discipline.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in the US with ability to serve as Engineer of Record.
• Minimum of 20 years of rail track engineering experience including detailed design delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead track design packages through final design and construction support.
• Mentor and develop junior/mid-level track engineers.
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, structures, drainage, and other disciplines.
