Job summary

SYSTRA USA is seeking a Senior Track Design Engineer to lead the design of vertical and horizontal rail transit tracks and alignments in the northeast USA. The role requires strong technical judgment, project leadership, and collaboration across multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities include managing scope, schedule, and budget; ensuring designs meet client specifications and QA/QC standards; and propagating best practices using Bentley OpenRail Designer and related tools. Travel is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering.
• Ten years of track design experience.
• Leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Proficient in project management and QA/QC for rail projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical advice and design of track alignments.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget with milestone reporting.
• Plan designs using Bentley OpenRail Designer.
• Ensure compliance with standards and client specs.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and collaborate across offices.
• Travel nationally and internationally as required.
