Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Systems Integration Manager - Rail & Transit in Lynnwood, WA. The role focuses on developing the system integration plan, managing interfaces, and ensuring compatibility across subsystems for rail projects.

The position requires a BS/MS in Engineering with at least 10 years in rail systems integration; a PE license and INCOSE certification are preferred. Expect responsibilities including risk management, budgeting, and potential project management duties.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in systems integration experience in the rail industry.
• P.E. license preferred.
• INCOSE certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop the system integration plan for the project in compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Manage interfaces between stakeholders and resolve conflicts between interfaces.
• Develop requirements from references, standards, and certification inputs and ensure compatibility across subsystems.
• Define the system integration test strategy and supervise system integration testing.
• Identify key project risks regarding the system engineering process, the interfaces and requirements.
• Act as technical consultant and develop engineering standards and guides.
• Monitor budget conformance and quality control.
• May function as project manager for routine to semi-complex projects.
