Mott MacDonald is seeking a Principal Project Manager for the Rail Infrastructure team in the New Jersey and New York City metro area. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams on public agency projects, coordinate complex scheduling, budgeting, and safety, and maintain strong client relationships with NJ Transit and Amtrak.

The role requires deep knowledge of design and construction in the NJ/NY area, experience supervising field administration, and a track record of delivering large-scale rail

Qualificações

• Minimum 15+ years in infrastructure/transit rail projects.
• 10+ years managing multi-disciplinary project teams and engineering proposals.
• Experience with NJ Transit or equivalent public agencies.
• Knowledge of NJ Transit project delivery processes.
• Experience in transportation planning and public involvement.
• Strong technical writing for proposals, reports, and specs.
• Proven ability to grow client relationships and manage senior client contacts.

Responsabilidades

• Lead pursuit and execution across rail infrastructure phases; evaluate plans and select cost-effective solutions.
• Develop proposals and support procurement; build NJ/NY Transportation reputation.
• Foster high-performance teams; mentor Northeast Transportation staff; drive collaboration.
• Coordinate with discipline teams to maintain scope, budget, and schedule; ensure quality checks.
