Job summary

DB E.C.O North America, Inc. seeks a senior infrastructure and asset management consultant with extensive rail industry experience to lead engagements in maintenance, lifecycle planning, and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, transportation, asset management, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in rail infrastructure maintenance, infrastructure management, asset management, or a closely related field.
• Strong practical understanding of railway infrastructure assets and their maintenance requirements across multiple asset classes.
• Excellent understanding of rail infrastructure maintenance strategies and lifecycle planning.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure asset management frameworks, governance, and performance management.
• Experience leading complex technical projects with multidisciplinary teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to combine technical expertise with strategic business thinking to develop practical solutions.
• Experience in management consulting or client-facing environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support consulting engagements in rail infrastructure maintenance, management, and asset management.
• Advise clients on maintenance strategies and long-term infrastructure planning.
• Develop maintenance concepts including preventive, predictive, and condition-based approaches.
• Support asset lifecycle optimization, renewal planning, and capital budgeting.
• Assess existing maintenance organizations and develop practical recommendations and roadmaps.
• Develop governance structures, processes, and KPIs for infrastructure maintenance and asset management.
• Translate technical analyses into clear recommendations for senior audiences.
• Prepare client presentations, reports, and proposals.
• Build relationships with client stakeholders and industry partners.
• Contribute to business development and practice development within the Infrastructure team.
