Job summary

Bi-State Development is seeking a Supervisor of Rail Facility Maintenance to lead maintenance for Rail Stations, yards, and related facilities. You will oversee a mix of union and contractor staff and ensure safety, quality, and on-time project delivery.

The role involves asset management, budgeting, and coordinating with multiple departments. Candidates should have 2+ years of college-level facilities experience and strong leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building maintenance, electricity, HVAC, welding and related systems.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Experience supervising union and non-union staff in a maintenance environment.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise union mechanics, electricians, utility workers, truck drivers and contractors in maintenance of Rail facilities.
• Mentor employees to safely inspect and maintain Metro Rail systems.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports and remediation recommendations.
• Develop safety procedures and support the Safety program.
