Job summary

Bi-State Development Agency in Debaliviere, Missouri seeks a Supervisor Rail Facility Maintenance to direct maintenance of MetroLink stations, yards and 12 miles of light rail ROW, supervising ATU and IBEW crews and contractors to keep facilities safe and reliable.

You will oversee inspections, prepare reports, manage preventive maintenance, and collaborate with unions under the IBEW/ATU contracts while advancing asset management and safety programs.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building maintenance, electricity, heating and air conditioning, welding, hydraulics in facility repair.
• Ability to interpret blueprints and diagrams.
• Excellent written and oral communication in a multi-union environment.
• Proficient with common software (Word, Excel, Windows).

Responsibilities

• Supervise union mechanics, electricians, utility workers, truck drivers and contractors.
• Mentor employees to safely inspect and maintain the rail system per standards.
• Ensure inspection reports are completed and filed for rail facilities and ROW.
• Prepare variance reports with remediation recommendations to leadership.
• Recommend safe procedures and support the Safety program.
• Manage maintenance projects within schedules and budgets.
• Inspect quality of installed rail facility systems and documentation.
• Provide excellent internal and external customer service.
• Monitor contractor performance and adjust output to meet requirements.
• Manage material stock levels for maintenance demands.
