Huitt-Zollars, Inc. seeks a Senior Rail Engineer in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to lead freight, industrial, commuter, and light rail projects with 10+ years' experience.

You will mentor teams, coordinate across disciplines, apply AREMA/FRA and UPRR/BNSF design criteria, and support proposals and client coordination.

Texas PE preferred; BSCE; full-time position with competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years in engineering with at least 5 years in railroad track design.
• Texas PE registration or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead rail engineering tasks and coordinate multidisciplinary deliverables.
• Familiarity with AREMA standards and freight rail design requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design for freight, industrial, commuter, and light rail projects.
• Lead track design: horizontal/vertical alignment, turnouts, crossings, grading.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specs, quantities, and cost estimates.
• Apply AREMA, FRA, UP RR/BNSF, transit agency, and local design criteria.
• Coordinate with civil, drainage, structural, signals, utilities, and other disciplines.
• Provide technical direction and quality control for deliverables and design issues.
