Job summary

Providence Healdsburg Hospital in CA is seeking a Senior Radiology Technologist for the Radiology Unit. This full-time position features 8-hour night shifts and the opportunity to contribute to high-quality diagnostic imaging and patient care.

Under a staff radiologist, you will operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, process CR cassettes, and maintain imaging rooms and supplies. Standby availability is required, and a 25% night shift differential supplements base pay.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital or imaging facility as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic radiographic images under the direction of a staff radiologist.
• Operate imaging equipment and process CR cassettes.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Follow ALARA principles and transport patients safely.
• Assist in the departmental quality improvement program and be available for standby as required.

Education

Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology

California Radiologic Technologist license

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

ARRT certification

1 year of experience in acute care hospital or imaging facility as Radiologic Technologist
