Qualifications

• A Radiologic Technologist with 1 year of acute care hospital or imaging facility experience is required.
• California Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARD certification through ARRT upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic radiographic images under the radiologist.
• Operate imaging equipment and process CR cassettes.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment and supplies, following ALARA policies.
• Transport patients to and from the department safely; standby as needed.
• Participate in the departmental quality improvement program as directed.
