Job summary

Providence Healdsburg Hospital is seeking a Senior Radiology Technologist to join the Radiology Unit in Healdsburg, CA. The position is full-time with 8-hour night shifts and a 25% night differential in addition to base pay.

The role requires ARRT certification, CA licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of acute care imaging experience. Responsibilities include patient prep, imaging, equipment safety, and involvement in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• California Radiologic Technologist license required upon hire.
• National Provider BLS (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Certification from ARRT required upon hire.
• 1 year of experience in acute care hospital or imaging facility as a Radiologic Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic radiographic images under the direction of a staff radiologist.
• Operate imaging equipment and process CR cassettes, maintain exam rooms and supplies.
• Follow ALARA policies and transport patients safely to and from the department.
• Assist in departmental quality improvement programs and standby as required.
