Job summary

Providence Healdsburg Hospital is seeking a Senior Radiology Technologist to join the Radiology Unit. The role is full-time with 8-hour night shifts and offers a 25% night differential in addition to base pay.

Under a staff radiologist, you will prepare patients, operate imaging equipment, and ensure ALARA compliance while transporting patients as needed. Eligibility requires CA licensure, ARRT, and BLS on hire, with 1 year of acute care imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• California Radiologic Technologist license required on hire.
• BLS certification required on hire by the American Heart Association.
• ARRT certification required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year of Radiologic Technologist experience in acute care or imaging facilities.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a staff radiologist, prepare patients for diagnostic radiographic images.
• Operate imaging equipment and process CR cassettes.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment; follow ALARA policies.
• Transport patients to and from the department safely and efficiently.
• Assist in departmental quality improvement initiatives and standby as required.
