Providence Healdsburg Hospital is seeking a Senior Radiology Technologist in the Radiology Unit in California. This full-time role involves 8-hour night shifts under the direction of a staff radiologist, imaging patients for diagnostic studies, operating radiology equipment, and ensuring ALARA compliance.

Candidates must have an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology, CA licensure, BLS, ARRT certification, and at least 1 year of acute care or imaging experience; CT/MR/Mammography experience

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
• California Radiologic Technologist license upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT certification upon hire.
• 1 year of experience in acute care hospital or imaging facility.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a staff radiologist, prepares patients for diagnostic radiographic images.
• Operates imaging equipment and processes CR cassettes.
• Prepares exam rooms and maintains equipment and supplies.
• Ensures imaging follows ALARA department policies.
• Transports patients to and from the department safely and efficiently.
• Assists in the departmental quality improvement program and standby as required.
