Job summary

CodaMetrix is seeking a Coding Analyst III in Boston to serve as the senior radiology coding SME. You will lead reviews of CPT coding, documentation, and modifiers, guiding teams across coding, auditing, and customer implementations.

Qualifications

• Current AHIMA or AAPC coding credential with 7+ years of experience.
• 7–10 years of medical coding and auditing experience with radiology focus.
• Significant hands-on radiology coding experience across modalities.
• CPC, CCS, and/or CIRCC certifications required; CIRCC strongly preferred.
• Expert CPT coding knowledge in radiology, including modifiers and documentation requirements.
• Excellent communication and ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and document customers' coding practices and workflows.
• Assist with Coding Quality Assessment (CQA) projects and QA for coding staff.
• Provide SME guidance on CPT coding and radiology scenarios.
• Present audit results and coding recommendations to customer stakeholders.
• Develop training materials on coding and billing for colleagues and customers.
• Support customer implementations with senior radiology coding expertise.
