Job summary

CodaMetrix is seeking a highly experienced Coding Analyst III with deep radiology coding expertise to lead quality assessments and guide customers through complex coding scenarios. You will collaborate with ML, Product, and Implementations teams to ensure accurate coding and successful go-lives.

The role requires CPC/CCS/CIRCC credentials and 7+ years of radiology coding and auditing experience, with a focus on accuracy, process improvement, and scalable quality across customer workflows.

Qualifications

• Current AHIMA or AAPC coding credential held for 7+ years.
• 7–10 years of medical coding and auditing experience.
• Significant hands‑on radiology coding experience.
• CPC, CCS, and/or CIRCC certification required; CIRCC strongly preferred.
• Experience coding across multiple radiology modalities and/or subspecialties is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with ability to engage executives and stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive under time constraints in a fast-paced environment.
• Team‑oriented approach with collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Customer & Workflow Analysis: analyze and document customers’ coding practices and workflows; share best practices for automation and workflow improvements; apply radiology coding expertise to identify risks and opportunities.
• Coding Quality Management: assist with Coding Quality Assessment projects; drive world-class coding quality and consistency; review complex coding scenarios; present audit results and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Radiology Coding SME: serve as senior SME in radiology coding and billing; provide guidance on CPT coding, modifiers, and guidelines; support cross-functional teams.
• Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing: develop training materials; mentor other coding staff; share knowledge to strengthen internal competencies.
• Compliance & Professional Development: stay current on coding changes; maintain certifications; ensure confidentiality and compliance in coding and audits.
• Customer Implementation Support: participate in customer implementations; provide senior coding expertise; collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize results.
