Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health physics or related science with 4 years' experience in applied Radiation Protection.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years' applied Radiation Protection experience.
• Associate's degree in health physics or related science with 6 years' experience.
• High school diploma with 7 years' experience in applied Radiation Protection.
• Maintain minimum access requirements and favorable medical examination as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Track radiation protection metrics and implement corrective actions to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Benchmark programs with fleet peers to improve cost, execution, and standardization.
• Perform program assessments and technical calculations for regulatory compliance.
• Lead self-assessments and training to improve department performance.
• Represent Radiation Protection in meetings with Nuclear Oversight and regulators.
• Conduct in-field observations to ensure standards are met.
• Communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences in oral and written form.
• Support outage activities, emergency response, and other department duties as needed.
