Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health physics or related science with 4 years of experience in applied Radiation Protection
• Associate's degree in health physics or related science with 6 years of experience in applied Radiation Protection
• High school diploma/GED with 4 years as a qualified ANSI RP Technician or 8 years of experience in applied Radiation Protection
• Current or previous Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of applied Radiation Protection experience

Responsibilities

• Lead ALARA program planning, estimation, and procedures to reduce exposure
• Assess, correct, benchmark, and improve RP processes and practices across sites
• Lead outage planning, modification teams, and online planning as part of RP ALARA
• Mentor RP personnel and site staff to share knowledge and ensure compliance
• Incorporate fleet fundamentals and coach station personnel for continual improvement
• Communicate effectively with oral and written channels to all audiences
• Support emergency response and outage activities as needed
