Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health physics or related science with 3 years of experience in applied Radiation Protection.
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of applied Radiation Protection experience.
• Associate's degree in health physics or related science with 5 years of experience in applied Radiation Protection.
• High school diploma/GED with 7 years of experience in applied Radiation Protection.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping/receiving of radioactive materials including inspections and authorizations for shipment; maintain required paperwork and records.
• Perform Curie content calculations, classify radwaste shipments, and 10CFR61 analysis; ensure computer programs are maintained.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes for radioactive shipping and incorporate into procedures.
• Develop and deliver clear oral and written communications for diverse audiences.
• Fulfill additional duties per company policy and management direction, including emergency response and outage support.
