Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. is seeking an experienced Radiation Protection Supervisor to lead the Radiation Protection Technicians, plan and schedule decontamination activities, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements in the plant.

The role emphasizes ensuring ALARA exposure levels, coordinating with plant staff and regulators, and managing staffing, training, and communications within the RP program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of applied radiation protection experience OR
• Senior Reactor Operator license with 5 years of applied Radiation Protection experience OR
• Associate's degree with 7 years of applied radiation protection experience OR
• High school diploma/GED with 9 years of applied Radiation Protection experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of Radiation Protection Technicians and ensure compliance with policies and bargaining agreements.
• Manage the Radiation Protection program to keep ALARA exposures and compliance on target.
• Communicate program changes and feedback to staff and regulators as needed.
• Oversee hiring, training, and field work for Radiation Protection Technicians.
• Track station performance in contaminated areas and contamination events.
• Contribute to emergency response and outage support as required.
