Job summary

RTX, the world's largest aerospace and defense company, is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer for the SE&TC Surface Radars & Sensors Center onsite at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, CO. The role requires close collaboration with warfighter communities and engineering teams to deliver radar analysis, education, and operational support.

Domestic and international travel is expected. The role is strictly onsite; relocation may be eligible and RTX offers comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar systems, Missile Defense, and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Support multiple warfighter organizations across the Missile Defense enterprise.
• Provide radar education and training for Combatant Commands, especially Sensor Manager Cells.
• Participate in planning conferences, technical interchange meetings, system testing, and Wargames/Exercises as radar SME.
• Contribute to the MDS community and support real-world operational needs.
• Analyze operational radar data to support mission outcomes.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to ~10%.
