Job summary

RTX is seeking a Principal Radar Systems Engineer in MA to support LTAMDS and GhostEye radars. Role covers concept to deployment, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and hands-on problem solving for mission-critical defense systems.

The position emphasizes collaboration, data analysis, and delivering robust radar solutions from concept through field deployment, with occasional travel to Marlborough MA or Pelham NH.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant radar experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python and C++ for radar applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop concepts of operations for radar systems.
• Develop radar processing algorithms.
• Develop radar software requirements.
• Perform statistical and numerical analysis of radar data.
• Create analysis tools to identify and resolve problems.
• Collaborate with Systems and Software Engineers to implement solutions.
• Present findings and solutions to leadership or customers.
