Job summary

RTX’s Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SE&T) Surface Radars & Sensors Center seeks a Principal Systems Engineer to join the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department. You will support programs such as AN/TPY-2 and XBR, handling data analysis, system integration, and test planning in a fast-paced environment.

You will contribute to testing strategy, collaborate with software and hardware teams, and present to customers.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux/Unix.
• Experience in systems engineering, radar data analysis, integration, verification, validation or testing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in integration and test planning/execution and perform scenario-based analysis.
• Complete system performance assessments and validation testing to ensure requirements compliance.
• Execute integration plans and testing activities per defined tasks.
• Integrate radar system software builds in a String/HWIL facility for support.
• Collaborate with cross-program leads to develop test approaches and ensure readiness.
• Ensure testing complies with DoD export policies and industry procedures.
