Job summary

Banner Defense seeks an Advanced Radar Engineer to support the MDA Theater-Based Defense program with TPY-2 and related radar systems. The role involves coordinating actions across PMO teams, assuring MR artifacts, and interfacing with the warfighter community to align radar requirements.

The candidate will contribute to system engineering tasks, risk assessments, and on-site support for radar software and hardware activities, while maintaining regulatory and programmatic compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or higher in STEM with 12+ years DoD radar defense experience.
Expertise in THAAD, TPY-2 FBM radar, Patriot or Aegis radars.
Active Secret Clearance; US citizenship required.
Experience with US Army Materiel Release processes.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Serves as Mobile Land-Based Sensors PMO coordinator for AN/TPY-2 FBM radar surveillance.
Supports MR process to ensure radar safety, suitability, and supportability for warfighters.
Coordinate and prepare MR artifacts and data products for the sensor engineering team.
Assist with THAAD MR coordination related to radar components and product management.
Coordinate with Warfighter community on radar requirements and track action items.
