Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Missile Defense Sensors department in the SE&TC Surface Radars & Sensors Center. This on-site role in Woburn, MA focuses on concept development, architecture, requirements flow-down, modeling, simulation, and system analysis for world-class radar sensor systems.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with radar systems, signal processing, or defense programs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze radar system performance data with respect to requirements.
• Identify performance deficiencies and propose solutions.
• Define and prototype new algorithms to enhance system performance.
• Present plans, designs and system performance to peers, internal leadership and external customers.
• Provide subject matter expertise to agile software development teams to ensure proper implementation.
• Contribute to capability areas such as Electronic Protection, radar calibration, and modeling/simulation.
