Job summary

ASRC Federal Holding Company is seeking a Senior Software Developer to join the DARC2 program in Colorado Springs, CO. The role focuses on software design, development, integration, and testing of mission software for space-domain awareness and radar tracking.

The candidate will collaborate across radar, systems, and cybersecurity teams, working with C++, Python, and Java to enable Mission Transfer and multi-site data exchange. A DoD clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience; or a Master’s with 6+ years.
• Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• Significant professional software development experience using C++.
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, and troubleshooting software for complex systems.
• Strong OO design, data structures, algorithms, and engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, modify, integrate, test, and maintain software for DARC2 radar mission capabilities.
• Support Mission Transfer and continuity of space-object tracking across distributed DARC sites.
• Develop software in C++, Python, and Java in a distributed environment.
• Support radar tracking, track-data processing, sensor coordination, and data exchanges between sites.
• Analyze architectures, interfaces, algorithms, and data flows for multi-site operations.
• Develop interfaces for reliable tracking/mission data exchange between distributed systems.
• Collaborate with radar, systems, software, cybersecurity, and ops teams to resolve issues.
• Translate requirements into software designs, interfaces, and executable capabilities.
